Wellbeing Service

 

Layton Medical Centre has always been excellent at dealing with physical health problems. We’re now able to give excellent support for people with mental health issues.

So if you are concerned about your wellbeing and would like to have a trained Practitioner listen to you, and to help identify what the problems might be and identify actions that will help you, please take advantage of our Wellbeing Service.

You can access the Wellbeing Service directly by asking for an appointment at reception – just ask for a first appointment with our Wellbeing Practitioner.

The Wellbeing Practitioner can help with a full range of wellbeing issues, including but not limited to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Sleeplessness

Welcome to Layton Medical Centre

The doctors and staff at Layton Medical Centre in Blackpool are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.

 

Patients with particular needs

Our purpose-built premises have full access for disabled patients and a disabled toilet.  If you need assistance please ask a member of staff.

We welcome new patients

We aim to treat all our patients courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, so our Practice staff wear a name badge and identify themselves on the telephone.
